Can a TV be mounted on any wall?
Yes.
Any TV can be securely fixed to any wall, with the appropriate fixings and bracket.
One of the biggest benefits of TV wall mounting is the space it frees up in your living area—no bulky stands or units required. Not only is it practical, but it also creates a modern, streamlined look that elevates your home’s style.
The days of having the TV tucked away in the corner are long gone. Whether you’re streaming on Netflix, catching up on Sky, gaming, or hosting movie nights, more and more people want their screens to take pride of place. Wall mounting makes your TV a true focal point while helping you reclaim valuable floor space.

Professional TV Wall Mounting
We’re often asked whether we provide TV wall mounting services and if it’s possible to mount a customer’s TV. The answer is always yes! With the right brackets, fixtures, and fittings, any TV can be mounted securely to any type of wall. We supply everything needed, using either flat or pull-out brackets, and ensure the weight is evenly distributed across the bracket and wall—giving you complete confidence that your TV is safe and secure.
Hiding Cables for a Clean Finish
The type of wall in your home determines the best approach. In many modern properties, walls are hollow, making them ideal for concealing cables. Dot-and-dab or stud walls offer cavities that are perfect for feeding cables through. We’ll also supply HDMI cables tailored to your needs, ensuring they’re the correct size and length for a neat installation.
Mounting on Solid Walls
If your home has solid walls, hidden cables are still possible—it just takes a little more work. This involves chasing into the wall, re-plastering, and repainting, but the end result is a sleek, modern finish. Many customers with solid walls also choose to create a Media Wall, depending on the style they want to achieve. We can fit plug sockets directly behind your TV and even add backlighting to give your setup a stunning wow factor.

This is carried out in variable ways, dependent on the type of wall.
With plasterboard walls, we use the cavities in the wall to manage and move the cables into position. With solid walls, this requires chasing a channel in the wall, making space for the cables to be run in conduit (tubing), finished with a plaster to smooth and fix the chased area.
There are some variables with TV mount bracket options and which is best will depend on your requirements.
A flat bracket is appropriate if no TV movement is required and all seating positions have a good view. Flat brackets also allow the TV to sit close to the wall.
A pull out bracket is used when access is required to behind the TV, pull out brackets are always used on Media Walls as we locate cables, sockets and often devices behind the TV. Pull out brackets are also used if there is a seating position to the side of the TV and a twist is needed for optimal viewing.
A tilt bracket is sometimes used if the TV needs to be at a higher viewing position that optimal. This is a bracket that we rarely use.
