Many of our Media Wall’s have featured electric fires and this is solely due to client taste. We have designed and built many Media Walls that do not include electric fires, where the focus may be more toward the shelving and storage options.
It is also possible to feature electric fires AND plenty of storage and shelving, dependent on design and space available.

Yes.
The remote control has a number of functions including turning on and adjusting the temperature of the heat output. In British Fires fires, this can be controlled within a range from 17c to 27c.
The British Fires hot air system is a patented ‘air curtain technology’. The fan draws cool air from the room in and down the sides of the fireplace, distributes heat back into the room through the unique heater outlets and is designed and engineered to distribute heat effectively throughout a space.
This again, is completely a client choice and design decision. The fires can be installed front facing (with only the front glass exposed), 3-side exposure or corner installation, with 2 sides of the fire on view.
As frustrating as this answer may be – it really depends which fire you choose. We typically grade the fires when describing them to clients into a few categories.
Grade 1 would showcase the most realistic features with a real focus on authenticity. The use of real logs, the flame technology, the overall design elements and quality in manufacturing make these fires the best on the market.
Grade 2 may have some elements of the above but there could be differences/variables such as synthetic logs and flame effect, dependent on the manufacturer.
Grade 3 would be the most basic electric fires on the market – and we don’t deal with or install this grade of fire.
